Free list builder for Kings of War: Vanguard

The Kroniki Kampanii builder lets you put together a Kings of War: Vanguard warband – Mantic Games’ skirmish game set in the world of Pannithor – in a few minutes, in your browser and without an account. Pick a faction and a game size, add models from the list, and the builder keeps the points and the rulebook’s warband-building restrictions in check as you go.

The catalogue covers 23 factions from the current “Updated Warbands” cards (November 2022) – from Basileans, Dwarfs and Elves to the Forces of the Abyss, Undead, Goblins and Ratkin – plus mercenaries that can join any warband.

What the builder does

• Enforces warband limits: the minimum Warrior/Grunt models and a leader, Command, Support and Spellcaster slots unlocked by every group of three, the Large and same-card limits, one unique character and one mercenary.
• Draws the warband the way the rulebook does: groups of three Warrior/Grunt models and the slots they unlock.
• Handles card options (spears, muskets, Gifts of Korgaan…), extra Common and Rare equipment and spells – swapping for a faction spell or buying one for 10 points.
• Knows the small-game rules for up to 100 points and faction exceptions such as Ogres and the Northern Alliance.
• Lets you give models nicknames so identical figures are easy to tell apart on the table.
• Download the finished list as a PDF with model cards, power dice and item and spell descriptions – to print or keep on your phone at the table.

Without an account the list stays in your browser, and a list link carries the list inside it – we don’t keep it on the server. Once logged in, you can save up to 20 lists to your account (“My lists”) and open them on any device. With a Kroniki Kampanii account you can also run campaigns and tournaments and record your skirmish results.
